What the IBJA rate is
The India Bullion and Jewellers Association (IBJA) publishes a benchmark gold rate on business days, once around noon and again in the evening. Banks, jewellers and gold loan companies use it as a reference.
The IBJA rate excludes GST and is for 999 gold. Shop boards are usually a little higher because they add local costs and margins.
